ophélie: ‘‘I still consider myself as very much of a baby producer, and I’m learning something new and experimenting new things every time I work on a new track : I think keeping a beginner’s mindset in everything you do is important anyway. For this track I wanted to create something a bit more minimal, organic, and with a nature feel to it. I like storytelling in most things I do and for this one, I imagined some kind of forest walk and exploration, taking baby steps in an unknown (maybe a bit scary and imposing) but also exciting environment. To me there’s a psychedelic feel to it (kind of like everything related to the forest), or at least that’s how I see it :)"

Leese: ‘‘The track ‘‘Power,, was born through instinct and spontaneity, offering a vibrant testament to my artistic evolution. In this new creation, I felt the urgent need to explore new territories by integrating voices more prominently than usual, as I had announced with the release of my EP ‘‘Drift’’ on YUKU, thus pushing my own limits. The vocal harmonies, infused with my classical heritage, bring additional depth and emotional richness to this composition. After investing over two years in exploring various percussion styles, I chose here to disrupt those dynamic rhythms with haunting melodies, bordering on nostalgic. Each note resonates with unmatched power, making ‘‘Power’’ much more than just a musical track: an artistic statement, a perfect blend of tradition and innovation, thus marking a new era in my musical journey.’’

Le Frit: "Pixel Soup is the first result of an ongoing research on cynetic and elastic sounds funded by the institute 'Recherche sur les Sciences Approximatives' (RSA). Elements fold and wrap, extend, backflip and collapse in a plastic-like environment. As if a digital toy box were having fun in a 3D trampoline park. Causality and effects work a bit differently in such an environment, but you'll find a trustworthy guide in the friendly voice welcoming you. Disclaimer : do not accept to drink their soup.
Probably not a banger, but a certified zboinger. Experience gravity like you never have before!"

fa:act: "Roll Into Rift is a track with a different energy to what i usually do. It’s much more of a club track, designed to get the Bass Face going with a naughtier, faster energy than I’m used to bzzzz"

Chewlie: "In this track I was particularly interested in simplicity & flow. It’s about how small asymmetries can make a beat or a rhythm unusual or challenging, even if it’s only subtle. But I still wanted to keep some sort of flow that feels natural to vibe with. To me it is always finding this percussive language that makes me curious and eager to follow the composition that still has a certain ease to itself.’’

Dubix: ‘"Pink City" is the result of a night walk under the rain in the middle of winter. Getting lost in the cobbled streets, and sometimes dark, of Toulouse. Which give a 140 deep and darky dubstep with minimalist atmosphere, surrounded by a heavy bass, impactful snares and amen breaks.’’

5RVZ: ‘‘Few years back, I crafted this track that holds a special place in my heart. It marks a pivotal moment in my musical journey, representing the genesis of my distinctive sonic identity. Infusing elements from beloved genres, I sculpted a melody that mirrors my soul while evoking a captivating blend of emotions. A melancholic symphony that beckons a bass-induced screw face, yet entrances you with its hypnotic allure, all while imbuing a subtle hint of gangsta, leaving you feeling undeniably cool.’’

RAVL: ‘‘The Chromatic Ribbon,, is a tribute to the animated series ‘‘The Midnight Gospel,, by Pendleton Ward and Duncan Trussell. I attempted to translate the striking contrast between darkness, or at least the fear of existential void and infinite depths on one side, and color, humor, and metaphysical reflections shared with others on the other side into music."
